Studio Backlot Tour

Location: Streets of America  |  FastPass: No

Learn what goes on behind the scenes of movie production at the Studio Backlot Tour. Begin your tour in a large outdoor set resembling Pearl Harbor. Audience members are chosen to participate in the filming of the battle scene. Then you walk through the Prop Warehouse on your way to the tram.

The tram takes you by the wardrobe department and materials department where you can see people working on costumes and set pieces for Disney related productions. Catastrophe Canyon is your next stop where explosions, rain, and waterfall effects attempt to scare you! Various other large set pieces are in the Backlot for you to view. After the tram ride is over, you enter AFI’s 50 Greatest Villains exhibit where you can check out some of movies’ greatest villains.
