Jedi Training Academy

Location: Echo Lake  |  FastPass: No but preregistration is required

Learn the ways of the Force at the Jedi Training Academy. Kids ages 4 to 12 are able to participate. A Jedi Master teaches the class using “training lightsabers”. After the lesson is nearly over, Storm Troopers crash the class and pave the way for the entrance of Darth Vader. Vader attempts to lure the students to the Dark Side which they of course refuse. Each child is then allowed to face Vader one on one in a lightsaber duel!

  • If you would like your child to participate, go to the Star Tours stage early and ask a cast member to help you sign up. Space is limited and classes fill up fast.

  • All sound effects and music are controlled by operators in a little noticed control booth to the left of the stage connected to the Backlot Express.
